Job description

Our client, a well-established business with over 40 years of experience, is a market leader in distribution and installations. Supplying their products to specialist installers, property developers, and builders' merchants across the South East and London, they also provide a full fitting service in selected areas. They are now looking for an E-Commerce Specialist to drive their online sales and optimise their digital presence.


Job Title: E-Commerce Specialist

Location: Crawley, West Sussex

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Benefits: Monthly performance-related bonus, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension contributions, and more


The Role:

As an E-Commerce Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and growing the company's online sales platforms. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies that drive engagement and maximise revenue.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage online sales platforms, including Amazon and eBay, to meet business targets.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to grow e-commerce sales.
  3. Monitor website and platform performance, analysing customer data and sales trends.
  4. Optimise product listings and digital content to enhance visibility and conversions.
  5. Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
  6. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to improve digital presence.
  7. Handle customer enquiries and maintain excellent service levels.

Skills and Experience Required:
  1. Experience managing e-commerce platforms, including Amazon and eBay.
  2. Knowledge of SEO, content management, and digital marketing.
  3. Strong project management and organisational skills.
  4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  5. Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
  6. A customer-focused mindset with problem-solving skills.
