E-Commerce Operations & Growth Manager

London (On-site) | Full-time

Kipferlis the only Austrian Restaurant, Patisserie, and Online Shop in the UK. Based in London, we’re known for our high-quality handmade cakes, unique Austrian wines, and fine delicatessen – both in our restaurant and through our growing online store.

We're looking for ahands-on, driven, and entrepreneurial individualto help take ouronline shopto the next level. This is not a passive role — you'll work directly with the founder, roll up your sleeves, and help shape the future of Kipferl’s e-commerce business.

What You’ll Be Doing

Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day management of ourShopifystore: stock updates, product listings, and site maintenance
  • Handle allcustomer communicationvia email and phone (questions, feedback, complaints)
  • Fulfil orders: packing, shipping, and ensuring timely delivery
  • Liaise with therestaurant and pastry teamon stock levels, production, and logistics
  • Streamline and improveorder fulfilment workflows, packaging, and delivery processes
  • Develop cross-selling and up-selling strategies using Shopify apps

Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and execute strategies to attract and convertcorporate customersacross the UK
  • Collaborate with our head pastry chef to launch new products
  • Helprecruit and trainnew e-commerce staff as we grow
  • Identify and act on new business opportunities
  • Support marketing campaigns in collaboration with our managing director and our digital agency

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience ine-commerce operations, ideally on Shopify
  • Passion forcustomer experienceand digital retail
  • Entrepreneurial mindset– you take initiative and thrive in a start-up-style environment
  • Hands-on, practical, and proactive attitude
  • Track record of hiring, managing or working within small, motivated teams
  • Bonus: background in food, hospitality, or retail
  • UK passport or visa necessary, no sponsorship available
