E-Commerce Operations Coordinator

Location: Rugby, Warwickshire

Employment Type: Full-time: 9am-5pm Monday-Thursday, 9am-2pm Fridays (35 hours per week), £25K starting Salary.

Role Overview:

The E-Commerce Operations Coordinator is responsible for the smooth execution of all online order processes-from order receipt to final delivery. This role ensures customer satisfaction through timely fulfilment, accurate stock management, and responsive communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process all online orders through the e-commerce platform.
  • Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels, conduct regular stock checks.
  • Respond to customer enquiries via email and other digital channels.
  • Coordinate with couriers and logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records of orders, returns, and inventory.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and design teams on product launches and promotions.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues to improve fulfilment efficiency.
Skills & Experience:
  • Previous experience in e-commerce or retail operations.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce).
  • Knowledge of business management systems and/or accounts systems such as Sage, Xero and Dynamics365.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset.
