Job description

E-Commerce Executive – Gartcosh, Glasgow

Carbeth Plants are recruiting for a new E-Commerce / Online / Digital Executive. This permanent role will suit an experienced e-Commerce executive / online sales assistant / Digital Marketing Executive / Online Marketing Assistant who is looking for their next challenge.

Working in a small team, this all-round role’s duties will include (but not be limited to):

  • Manage & optimise the listings on multiple, online platforms
  • Update & create content on various online platforms
  • Keyword research and insights
  • Ensure branding maintained
  • Reporting with Google Analytics and marketplace reporting tools and creating actionable insights to assist trade
  • Work with E-commerce Manager to increase traffic & KPI’s with SEO optimisation and PPC campaigns across sites
  • Maintain affiliate channel
  • Adhoc E-commerce administration tasks
  • Competitor and product research
  • Price adjustments
  • Creation of promotional / marketing campaigns
  • Data entry into product management systems

Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Administrative/data entry experience is essential
  • Knowledge / Interest in marketplaces & ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, eBay and Amazon is ideal
  • Basic knowledge of Excel required. Advanced skills highly valued
  • Can-do, team-first attitude with a natural instinct to problem solve.
  • Ability to act both independently and in a team.
  • Efficient, organized, and able to juggle various tasks and changing priorities.
  • Pro-active, self-motivated, willing to take on new challenges and learn.
  • Contributes to a culture of high performance and mutual support, fostering collaboration across the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills with sales team, customers, support teams, and leadership teams.
  • You will need to have a flexible approach to your work.

Ability to commute:

  • Gartcosh: The site requires own transport or is commutable from Glasgow, or Central Scotland

Experience:

  • E-commerce: 1 year (preferred)
  • Administrative: 1 year (preferred)
