With a strong focus on quality and innovation, this company has built a thriving e-commerce business, generating multi-million pound revenue through its own website.

As the business experiences continued growth, they are now searching for an E-Commerce Lead to join their expanding team and take ownership of online trading and platform performance. The marketing team currently includes four dedicated professionals, and significant investment is being made into digital channels.

Location: Newtownards (Office-Based)

Prior experience in e-commerce, particularly managing direct-to-consumer platforms, is essential for this role.

Position Overview:
The Digital Commerce Lead will oversee the daily operation and strategic development of the brand's ecommerce platform. This includes maintaining the Shopify storefront, managing digital product listings, handling SEO, paid advertising campaigns, third-party apps, and driving overall website performance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an e-commerce marketing and trading strategy across all relevant digital channels including email, SEO, PPC, paid social, content, and video.

  • Regularly review site performance metrics like traffic, conversion rates, bounce rates, and ROI, using data to inform decision-making.

  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team to design and implement high-impact campaigns and promotional activities.

  • Ensure digital product content is accurate and up-to-date - including descriptions, imagery, pricing, and special offers.

  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of customer trends, competitors, and emerging digital opportunities.

  • Manage the online campaign and promotional calendar, overseeing key communications and SEO-aligned content such as blogs.

  • Maintain a strong and consistent brand presence across the company's digital touch points, ensuring a smooth and engaging user experience.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an ecommerce-focused or digital trading position.

  • Degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business, or a related field preferred.

  • In-depth knowledge of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify), digital advertising, and conversion optimisation.

  • Experience managing paid media (Google Ads, Meta), SEO strategies, and online product performance.

  • Commercially driven mindset with a focus on improving revenue and customer engagement across digital channels.
