Job Description:

In response to advancements in e-commerce, our client is seeking an experienced E-Commerce Key Account Manager to maximize business opportunities across the UK. The role focuses on managing existing key accounts, acquiring new e-commerce customers, and selling innovative e-commerce packaging solutions.

This vital position aims to strengthen the e-Commerce sales function to support growth and profitability. The successful candidate will develop and grow the e-Commerce business segment by selling packaging and supply chain solutions, from concept to first orders, adding value to the business.

Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years’ experience selling to e-Commerce customers, with responsibilities including:

  • Managing and driving profitable growth of e-Commerce accounts
  • Accurate budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with customers and management
  • Supporting customer service with credit control, accounting, and invoicing issues
  • Managing relationships with UK sites, suppliers, and logistics centers
  • Optimizing e-Commerce growth and customer profitability using company tools and techniques
  • Selling and delivering e-Commerce packaging solutions, managing the sales pipeline, and building customer relationships
  • Supporting existing account management teams
  • Negotiating new customer contracts
  • Planning and executing customer visits
  • Developing account plans in collaboration with the e-Commerce team
  • Contributing to the development of the sales team
  • Driving price increases in line with company policies
  • Working with internal teams to develop profitable solutions
  • Utilizing supply chain insights to identify opportunities and risks
  • Presenting packaging solutions and demonstrating value to customers
  • Building customer relations and insights
