E-COMMERCE DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER - ONLINE SPORTS BRAND

Our client, a rapidly growing online fashion brand, is looking to recruit an experienced E-COMMERCE DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER to join their team in central Manchester to lead and deliver a digital and ecommerce strategy for the brand's websites in the UK and Europe.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in D2C online fashion brand delivering great results and will be conversant with managing E-commerce websites, PPC, Google Shopping, Paid Social, Content, CRM, Conversion, Merchandising, and trading calendar. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Digital Marketer/E-commerce specialist to join a high growth online fashion/sports brand.
About The Role:

The right candidate will take over the e-commerce activities of a truly iconic brand that has recently returned to trend in a big way, and also develop our other brands' e-commerce operations from concept to scale while building a team along the way.
Working closely with the Founders, you will take responsibility for the overall results and P&L for marketing and e-commerce. You will have full ownership of operational KPIs – Revenue, Profit, Customer Acquisition, Retention, lifetime value, and international growth, as well as management of a significant budget and development of a growing digital and e-commerce team.
Responsibilities Include:
Website:
- Managing the ongoing design and development of our e-commerce websites with third-party developers.
- Responsible for optimizations to navigation, collections, search, and homepage.
- Incorporate best practices into our current websites on an ongoing basis.
- Strategically plan product collections, pages, content updates, and featured shops based on inventory needs and marketing priorities.
- Manage product launch calendar and collaborate with the content team to upload content to the site.
- Monitor competitor and web sales trends to ensure web offer and experience is in line with customer expectations.
Digital Marketing:
- Develop, implement, and manage paid media strategies across Paid Social channels (Pinterest, Meta Ads, and TikTok Ads) to meet client objectives.
- Optimise campaigns through A/B testing, audience segmentation, and bid strategies to maximise ROI.
- Monitor and analyse performance metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure ad content aligns with campaign goals and platform best practices.
- Manage budgets effectively, ensuring campaigns remain within allocated spend while delivering optimal results.
- Stay up to date with platform updates, trends, and emerging paid media opportunities to ensure campaigns are innovative and competitive.
Reporting:
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients, showcasing campaign performance and ROI.
- Online sales budget control and forecasting – identify and report on trends in trading performance and develop sales forecasts for peak trading periods online.
- Monitor stock levels through inventory planner software and report weekly on the site cover, working collaboratively with the merchandising team to plan and maintain a sufficient stock holding.
- Collaborate with the shipping and logistics team to ensure inventory availability in advance of planned site product launches, updates, marketing campaigns, and promotional activity.
About You:
- 5+ years of related experience in e-commerce or data/analytical field required. Fashion or sports apparel and/or footwear industry experience is preferred.
- Proven experience managing paid media campaigns across core paid social channels such as Meta Ads, Pinterest Ads, and TikTok Ads.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and Ads Manager platforms.
- Deep understanding and strong technical ability with Shopify/Shopify+ and technical experience with e-commerce platforms in general.
- In-depth knowledge of audience targeting, bidding strategies, and ad optimisation techniques.
- Demonstrable experience with performance marketing, focusing on measurable results such as leads, conversions, or sales.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present data-driven insights to clients and team members.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
