Job summary

hireful is seeking an enthusiastic E-commerce Assistant to join the team and support our online store growth. You will coordinate product listings, ensure accurate information, and manage customer inquiries across email, phone, and chat.

The role offers training, variety, and progression opportunities within a dynamic eCommerce environment. Ideal candidates will have an interest in eCommerce, strong MS Office skills, and a proactive approach to ownership of projects.

Qualifications

• An interest in and initial understanding of eCommerce.
• Good understanding MS Office systems (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Detail orientated to ensure accuracies in product information.
• Good level of verbal and written communication skills, including good grammar.
• A desire to learn Agricultural, Turf and Ground Care equipment and eCommerce.
• Ability to take ownership of projects independently and as part of the wider team.

Responsibilities

• Create and coordinate product listings on our website via Shopify (descriptions and visuals).
• Ensure accurate technical information on product listings.
• Basic use of design tools (Canva, Photoshop).
• Organise merchandise for eCommerce, including clothing and toys, and research new products.
• Handle website order fulfilment with internal departments and suppliers.
• Assist with ad hoc online store tasks, including merchandising and promotions.
• Respond to inbound customer enquiries via email, phone, and live chat.
• Coordinate returns/exchanges and claims on orders via website and marketplaces.
