Job description

• Experience as a mechanic in the automotive/transportation industry
• An Electrical engineering or mechanic background – qualifications such as Cytech level 2 or similar are highly advantageous
• Ability to lift up to 65lbs / 30kg on a frequent basis
• Ability to operate a mobile device, including familiarity with app-based workflows. iOS experience preferred
• Good communication skills with the ability to read and follow instructions
• Willingness to learn, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well with others; teamwork is key to success!

What You’ll Do:

• Ensure operational compliance and safety of all electric vehicles
• Perform a variety of repairs, from basic maintenance to complex electronic part replacement
• Maintain safety and hygiene standards within the warehouse
• Maximize the number of operational vehicles by efficiently completing assigned tasks
• Identify issues and find creative solutions to overcome obstacles
• Safely operate a pallet jack and/or push cart on a frequent basis
• Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned
• Receive additional training to become a skilled mechanic!

All shifts are 9am – 5pm with the following shift patterns available:

• Thursday – Monday
• Friday – Tuesday

Pay:

• From £13.15 – £14.15 based on attendance (bonus available)
