Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel in Preston, UK, seeks a Speech and Language Therapist specialized in Adult Dysphagia on a part-time, ongoing basis. The role offers a stable schedule (Mon 9am–5pm, Tue 9am–5pm, Wed 9am–2pm) with a competitive hourly rate of £26.35.

You will assess clients with dysphagia, develop tailored treatment plans, and work with a multidisciplinary team while documenting in line with NHS standards. This locum position supports CPD and professional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Speech and Language Therapy with HCPC registration.
• Experience and training in adult dysphagia management.
• Experience working in a community-based SLT team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients with dysphagia and provide tailored treatment plans.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.
• Implement and review communication strategies to improve service delivery.
• Provide educational sessions for carers and staff on dysphagia and communication disorders.
• Document assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans in line with NHS standards.
