Job summary

Warwick College Group is seeking a dyslexia specialist/lecturer to support learners across sites. The role includes teaching up to 864 hours per year, assessments, 1:1 and small group sessions, and ensuring JCQ-compliant reporting.

Applicants should have a Level 5 DET or PGCE and a postgraduate qualification in Assessing for Access Arrangements. DBS checks and ongoing CPD are required.

Qualifications

• Qualified to at least Level 5 DET or PGCE for teaching.
• Postgraduate qualification in dyslexia assessment is desirable.
• Good IT skills and ability to use dyslexia software.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to teaching up to 864 hours per annum including assessments, 1:1 and small group teaching.
• Produce reports meeting JCQ requirements identifying student needs.
• Coordinate with Dyslexia Team to develop and raise dyslexia support provision.
• Monitor progress of students with dyslexia and provide retention data.
• Attend professional development and maintain safeguarding compliance.
