Dyno Technician : Basildon : 56363 : A GBP 29.36/hr : Inside IR35

As a Dyno Technician, youll play an integral role in supporting the development of advanced technologies while working in a highly collaborative and forward:thinking environment.

What You Will Do

• Ensure Dyno engines are equipped with the correct hardware and controls, keeping them updated and operational across multiple test rooms.
• Coordinate with various teams to validate Bill of Materials (BOMs) for Dyno and rig kits, ensuring timely delivery to support testing needs.
• Manage critical parts, equipment, and instrumentation to support Dyno homologation testing, including emissions certification and power testing.
• Oversee administrative tasks such as documentation of engines, spare parts, and shipping requirements, ensuring smooth testing operations at the Dunton site and beyond.
• Collaborate with engineers to document and debug critical Dyno systems, including cooling circuits and wiring looms.
• Plan and manage catalyst ageing programmes to ensure availability of correctly aged catalysts for testing, while maintaining detailed storage and usage records.
