Key Accountabilities (Duties)

As a Dyno Car Technician, your responsibilities include:

1. Preparing gearbox, hydraulic, fuel, engine integration, cooling, and brake systems for events across four dyno test beds.
2. Ensuring builds meet specifications and internal quality standards.
3. Collaborating with build departments to ensure consistent methods and addressing issues during testing.
4. Managing part usage, inventory, and servicing schedules, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
5. Supporting dyno operations during events, including power unit dressing, installation, crane operations, and reliability checks.
6. Servicing and maintaining dyno equipment such as gearboxes, emulator systems, and resolving issues.
7. Participating in cross-training and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
8. Enabling test facilities for commercial use.

Candidate Profile

Essential:

• Ability to collaborate and negotiate across departments.
• Understanding engineering drawings and test setups.
• Initiative, ownership, and attention to detail.
• Curiosity and adaptability.

Desirable:

• Experience with dyno or test lab environments.
• Practical knowledge of gearboxes, hydraulics, cooling, or braking systems.
• Motorsport or trackside experience.
• Data analysis skills.

Specific Advantageous Experiences:

• Experience with F1 systems and assemblies.
• Trackside F1 experience.
• Use of ATLAS 10 for data analysis.
