Dynamics Engineer - Submarines (Full Time, Derby / Onsite)

We are seeking talented Engineers to join the Dynamics Group at Rolls-Royce Submarines. As a member of this team, you will conduct structural assessments related to impact, seismic, shock, and vibration scenarios for components within the steam raising plant, as well as on-board and shore-based plant support equipment and radioactive material transport containers.

This role involves responding rapidly to emergent challenges, providing vital support to the Submarines enterprise.

Desirable: Knowledge of failure mechanisms, experience with finite element tools (LS-DYNA, Abaqus, ANSYS, HyperMesh, Oasys), safety-critical industry experience, professional membership, working toward chartership.
