Dynamics 365 Business Central Systems Manager
Up to £65k + Benefits | Remote or Hybrid | UK-Based
My client, a growing Microsoft Partner, is looking for an experienced Business Central Systems Manager to oversee the ongoing management, optimisation and strategic development of their internal and client-facing BC systems. This is a key leadership role ideal for someone with a strong functional and technical grasp of Business Central who enjoys improving systems and managing day-to-day operations.
Role Responsibilities
- Own and manage the day-to-day operation of Dynamics 365 Business Central environments
- Lead the planning, configuration and ongoing optimisation of BC to meet business needs
- Act as the internal BC product owner, working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement changes
- Oversee system upgrades, patches and new feature rollouts with minimal disruption to users
- Ensure data integrity, security and compliance across all BC instances
- Liaise with internal teams, developers and external vendors to deliver system improvements
- Manage user access, licensing, training and support
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and automate processes within BC
- Produce reports and dashboards to support business decision-making
- Stay up to date with the latest BC updates and best practices, proactively recommending enhancements
Knowledge & Skills
- Proven experience managing Dynamics NAV or Dynamics 365 Business Central systems
- Strong functional knowledge across finance, operations and supply chain modules
- Solid understanding of BC configuration, workflows and user administration
- Experience managing upgrades, enhancements and third-party integrations
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of system performance and improvement
