Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Finance Systems Analyst to act as the main Finance contact for Microsoft Dynamics 365, using deep knowledge of finance processes to optimise system usage and drive improvements. You will manage Finance-owned changes and collaborate with IT and external consultants on support and development.

Based in Cookstown with a hybrid role, the position offers £50,000–£70,000, reflecting experience level.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 in a finance environment, with the ability to support, optimise and drive adoption of ERP functionality.
• Strong understanding of core finance processes including Purchase-to-Pay, General Ledger, budgeting, forecasting, month-end close and financial controls.
• Demonstrable experience delivering systems improvements or ERP projects, including gathering requirements, testing solutions and implementing process enhancements
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical solutions for finance and operational teams.
• Analytical, curious and commercially minded, with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement, data integrity and process optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimise Microsoft Dynamics 365 across a growing £250m+ multi-entity business, acting as the primary finance systems expert
• Bridge the gap between Finance, Operations and IT, translating business requirements into system improvements and more effective workflows.
• Improve financial controls, reporting, data integrity and end-to-end processes including purchase-to-pay, general ledger and month-end close activities.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, driving system adoption, enhancing reporting through Power BI and identifying automation opportunities.
• Play a key role in finance transformation and business integration projects within a rapidly growing construction and infrastructure group.
