MS Dynamics 365 F&O Finance Senior Consultant

The Microsoft Business Solutions (MBS) business unit at KPMG is looking for a Dynamics 365F&O Senior Finance Consultant with experience across all phases of large-scale enterprise Dynamics 365F&O projects. The role requires a hands-on approach, a solid understanding of finance processes and procedures, and knowledge of interfacing and integration with Dynamics products. This position involves continuous interaction with clients and project teams, including both onshore and offshore development teams. It also includes presales activities focused on Dynamics F&O functionality and the broader Microsoft platform, along with contribution to proposals and business development, and mentoring junior staff.

This role is central to KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions' delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solutions. It offers an exciting opportunity within a rapidly growing business area of a leading global Big 4 firm.

Responsibilities
  • Involvement in full end-to-end implementations and all phases of the project lifecycle
  • Engagement with D365FO interfaces and integrations
  • Gathering and documenting functional requirements and conducting gap/fit analysis
  • Producing solution and integration design documents in collaboration with development teams
  • Managing scope and change control processes
  • Delivering end-user training to clients and colleagues
  • Providing on-site support during delivery and go-live phases
  • Maintaining awareness of product roadmaps and upcoming releases of D365FO
  • Responding to RFPs and RFQs
  • Solving complex problems with creative solutions
  • Understanding and demonstrating future enhancements of D365FO to team members
  • Upselling and promoting additional company capabilities
  • Participating in practice development activities
  • Upholding company values
  • Completing internal processes and mandatory training timely
  • Additional duties as assigned by Directors
  • Representing KPMG MBS professionally at all times
Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in consulting with strong presentation skills
  • Ability to lead meetings and workshops, confidently presenting to C-Suite executives
  • Minimum 6 years of implementation experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations (D365FO) or AX2012, covering modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash and Bank Management, Budgeting, Project Management and Accounting, Fixed Assets, Management Reporter, Financial Consolidation and Elimination, with experience in electronic banking and advanced workflows
  • Experience with D365FO interfaces and integrations
  • Current Microsoft Dynamics certification in relevant modules
  • Beneficial experience with LCS and Azure DevOps
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Visio is a plus)
  • Understanding of Power Platform and Business Intelligence (BI) is preferred
