Job summary

Avanade seeks a skilled Dynamics 365 CE Functional Consultant to join our team in delivering CRM solutions for clients. You will design, configure, and optimize Dynamics 365 CE modules, collaborate with stakeholders, and guide junior teammates to ensure successful delivery that drives business value.

You will work with ERP, marketing, and service platforms, leveraging Power Platform components to extend CE capabilities while adhering to governance and best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement modules (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Field Service).
• Hands-on experience with customizing Dynamics 365 CE, including entities, forms, views, workflows, and dashboards.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work with business stakeholders to provide functional solutions and best practices.
• Understanding of CRM principles and customer engagement processes.
• Experience with Power Platform components in CE context (Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Awareness of solution management, ALM, and DevOps practices.
• Microsoft Certifications (MB-210, MB-230, PL-200).

Responsibilities

• Design and configure Dynamics 365 CE modules to meet client requirements and optimize workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior consultants and developers.
• Customize Dynamics 365 CE and integrate with ERP, marketing, and service platforms.
• Advise clients on best practices and platform capabilities for business optimisation.
• Implement data governance, security roles, and compliance across environments.
• Conduct workshops, training, and knowledge transfers for clients or internal staff.
• Stay updated with Microsoft roadmap and industry trends.
• Document functional specifications and system changes; provide progress reports.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
