MS Dynamics Solution Architect

Role Purpose

KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions is building a world-class Microsoft Dynamics Practice, focusing on advisory and implementation services related to Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM & ERP). The role involves leading system implementations and engagements involving Independent Programme Assurance with third-party providers.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead customer delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365/CRM solutions on large, complex programs, managing a team and collaborating with specialists.
• Manage commercial and contractual aspects to ensure quality and profitability.
• Execute projects meeting quality standards and within scope, delivering timely and high-quality outputs.
• Develop innovative, repeatable solutions to enhance business performance and differentiate KPMG.
• Ensure pre-sales engagements are delivered with rigour and attention to detail.
• Identify and mitigate business/project risks, ensuring work fits firm capabilities and risk criteria.
• Deliver consultancy following MBS and KPMG methodologies, ensuring successful implementation.
• Conduct project reviews to identify lessons learned and improve future quality and commercial planning.
• Maintain Microsoft accreditation and stay updated with technical developments.
• Promote firm values, inclusive collaboration, and drive change through motivating team members.

Knowledge & Skills (including Qualifications)

• Deep technical expertise in DevOps and broad knowledge of Dynamics CRM capabilities, with relevant certifications.
• Strong technical architecture experience, especially around integrating Dynamics CRM with other solutions.
• Extensive experience leading end-to-end delivery of complex CRM solutions, including system integration.
• Proven CRM configuration, customization, and development skills.
• Good understanding of Azure and cloud technologies.
• Broad understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Specialism in one industry or sector.
• Experience with Agile methodology.

Experience and Background:

• Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions, both out-of-the-box and custom development.
• Extensive experience as a CE consultant, leading engagements and presenting to C-Suite stakeholders.
• Experience as a Solution Architect in Dynamics 365.
• Experience with large-scale CE implementations focusing on business requirements and delivery efficiency.
• Excellent presentation, demonstration, and business process mapping skills.
• Experience mentoring junior and offshore staff.
