An established Microsoft Partner in the Midlands is seeking a skilled Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365BC) Technical Architect to lead the design and development of complex ERP solutions. This is a senior-level role, offering strategic influence, technical leadership, and the opportunity to work on enterprise-scale projects across a variety of sectors.

Role Overview:

As a D365BC Technical Architect, you will take ownership of solution architecture, development standards, and technical delivery for Business Central projects. You’ll work closely with consultants, project managers, and client stakeholders to ensure scalable, efficient, and secure solutions are designed and delivered in line with best practice.

Location:

Midlands, UK – Hybrid working with regular travel to client sites and team meetings. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

Up to £85,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture and technical design of Business Central implementations, integrations, and extensions
  • Define and oversee development best practices, ensuring technical consistency across projects
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and clients to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Provide hands-on development in AL and support performance tuning and solution optimisation
  • Oversee data migration strategies and API-based integrations with third-party systems
  • Support pre-sales activity with solution design input, estimations, and technical presentations

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive experience developing and architecting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions (AL and extensions)
  • Strong knowledge of system integration, data migration, and application lifecycle management
  • Proven experience in a Microsoft Partner or ERP consultancy environment
  • Expertise in managing technical teams and leading solution design workshops
  • Familiarity with Power Platform, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD practices
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Full right to work in the UK
