Job summary

INNOVATIVE TECH PEOPLE LTD is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to own the D365 Business Central architecture for a multi-country, scale-driven platform. You will lead design discussions, challenge partner implementations, and steer a cross-functional team in an Agile, product-led delivery model.

The role focuses on finance, supply chain, distribution, and lot/serial traceability, with emphasis on secure integrations, upgrade readiness, and regulatory compliance in a remote, permanent position.

Qualifications

• Deep experience architecting Dynamics 365 Business Central or NAV-to-BC solutions at enterprise scale.
• AL extension development experience with extensions, events, interfaces, and custom APIs.
• Strong functional knowledge of core ERP processes.
• Integration experience with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Integration Services, and APIs.
• ALM and CI/CD experience for BC using Azure DevOps and Git.
• Power Platform knowledge including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Experience leading and mentoring developers.
• Regulated or GxP experience in medical device/pharma distribution.

Responsibilities

• Own the full D365 Business Central architecture, target state, design principles, and standards.
• Review, challenge, and approve solution designs from partners, ISVs, and third-party developers.
• Reduce technical debt and move the platform toward a clean, upgrade-ready design.
• Lead solution design across finance, purchasing, inventory, warehouse, distribution, and order-to-cash with traceability.
• Design secure, resilient integrations with D365 CE, Azure, SAP, EDI, 3PL systems, and Microsoft 365.
• Build performance, scalability, security, and segregation of duties into the platform for high transaction volumes.
• Ensure platform meets GxP, audit trail, and validation requirements.
• Partner with senior stakeholders and identify opportunities across BC and Power Platform.

We're undertaking an ambitious, multi-year transformation programme and are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to own the architecture of our live Dynamics 365 Business Central platform, which supports core finance, supply chain, and distribution operations. Youll help us scale the platform for growth, new entities, and acquisitions across multiple countries, set technical direction, challenge implementation partners, work closely with the business, and lead a strong development team in an Agile, product-based delivery model. This is a permanent, full-time remote role.
