Job summary

Empower Youth Zones seeks a Sessional Youth Worker to support recreational activities at HideOut Youth Zone in Gorton or Salford Youth Zone in Pendleton. You will help run a varied programme for 8-19 year olds (up to 25 for additional needs) and contribute to a safe, engaging, and youth-led environment.

Hours: Various contracts available; Location: Manchester area. The role focuses on inclusive, fun activities and discussions on relevant topics, building confidence and life skills through play

Responsibilities

• Create engaging programme for young people, ranging from pool & table tennis to debates on mental health or anti-bullying projects.
• Be vigilant, manage behaviour and keep the space and equipment clean and fit for purpose.
• Foster a lively, dynamic, creative and fun environment while providing space to discuss big issues and have FUN!
