Job summary

Pertemps Scotland are recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join a busy team in Midlothian on a temporary assignment. The role is 08:00–16:00, Monday to Friday, with an ASAP start. Heavy lifting and manual handling are involved, and reliability is essential.

You will break down pallets, record stock, store products safely, support production activities, and help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse. Teamwork and flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial.
• Able to lift heavy loads safely and handle manual handling.
• Reliable, punctual and able to follow instructions.
• Team player with flexible approach.

Responsibilities

• Break down pallets and handle stock.
• Record and check items accurately.
• Store products safely and efficiently.
• Carry out general warehouse duties.
• Support production activities as required.
• Load, unload and move stock.
• Maintain a clean and organised working area.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
• Assist with other duties as required.
