Job summary

Our client in Bedfordshire is seeking an experienced Warehouse Administrator Operative to join the busy warehouse team. The role combines warehouse administration, WMS operation and general warehouse duties to support accurate stock, orders, production and despatch.

You will be comfortable with a fast-paced environment, have GCSEs in Maths and English, and hold a valid PPT forklift license. Strong organisational and communication skills, plus attention to detail, are essential for success in

Qualifications

• GCSEs Maths and English (or equivalent).
• Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is essential.
• Good computer literacy and confidence using warehouse systems.
• Valid PPT truck licence.
• Previous warehouse administration experience.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Positive, proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate across departments.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts when required.

Responsibilities

• Release e-commerce orders for picking by the warehouse team.
• Print labels for production and pallet despatch.
• Organise and fulfil stock replenishments.
• Liaise with hauliers regarding daily collections.
• Act as a key point of contact for the warehouse team.
• Communicate with other departments regarding deliveries and production.
• Investigate and report stock discrepancies.
• Assist with picking and packing, maintaining high accuracy.
• Use handheld scanners for e-commerce, spares and production activities.
• Operate PPT equipment where required.
• Work with a close-knit team and liaise with other departments.
• Ensure all work complies with safety, quality and production standards.
• Undertake other reasonable duties as required.
