Job summary

Burnt Oak Primary School in Brompton is seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant to support learning across year groups. The role is fixed-term until 31 August 2027, 32.5 hours per week, term-time only (38 weeks).

The successful candidate will be passionate about children's development, build strong relationships, motivate learners, and contribute to high standards of teaching and care. DBS checks and safeguarding are required.

Qualifications

• Be passionate and enthusiastic about supporting children’s development.
• Develop strong relationships with children, staff and other stakeholders.
• Have the ability to motivate and inspire children throughout their learning journey.
• Be able to use specialist skills/training/experience to support children’s needs.
• Be committed to the school's high standards of teaching, learning and pastoral care.
• Have strong literacy and numeracy skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes across the different year groups in the school, provide class cover, class support and pupil interventions.
