Job summary

Supply Team Education Ltd is seeking an experienced Overseas Trained Teacher or a Newly Qualified Teacher for Newport, Wales. This Unqualified Teacher position offers you the chance to introduce yourself to local schools and build strong links for future teaching roles.

You will supervise lessons, collect worksheets, support the class teacher, follow safeguarding policies, and help with lunchtime and registration duties.

Qualifications

• Overseas Trained Teacher or Newly Qualified Teacher
• Transferable skills from related roles such as Sports Coach, Youth Work, Armed Forces, or Summer Camps

Responsibilities

• Supervising work left for the class and ensuring acceptable behaviour
• Collecting worksheets/books and setting homework as directed by the class Teacher
• Complying with child protection, health and safety, confidentiality and data protection policies
• Reporting disruptive or escalating behaviour per school policy
• Keeping the classroom tidy at the end of each lesson
• Undertaking form/lunchtime/break duties including registration cover
