Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking Supply Teachers to work in schools across Wigan and surrounding areas. We provide supply cover to Primary, Secondary and SEND Schools, from small village schools to large secondary establishments, covering all classes from Reception to KS5 with strong behaviour management.

Roles include pre-planned absence cover, day-to-day bookings and potential long-term assignments. Start date September 2026.

Qualifications

• Need UK teaching qualification and safeguarding readiness.
• Experience in UK schools preferred.
• Up-to-date safeguarding training desirable but provided.

Responsibilities

• Cover all classes from Reception to KS5.
• Provide day-to-day and longer-term supply cover across schools.
• Adapt to different school timetables and policies.
