Job summary

Cover People in Manchester is seeking a dedicated Sports Coach / Teaching Assistant to support pupils in KS3/KS4 within a large secondary alternative education provision in the Wigan area. You will help with PE, group activities and one-to-one support to promote physical activity and wellbeing.

The role requires a proactive, patient individual with a passion for working with vulnerable young people. Start ASAP, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, with PAYE payment and competitive daily

Qualifications

• CV with full history from education to present.
• Minimum of 3 months' verifiable experience supporting young people.

Responsibilities

• Support students in PE lessons, small groups, and 1:1 settings to encourage physical activity, engagement and wellbeing.
• Assist with classroom tasks, promote positive behaviour and help build confidence through sport.
