Job summary

Halfords is expanding its social media team and seeks a highly creative Social Content Creator. You will shoot social-first content on iPhone and DSLR, edit with CapCut and Premiere Pro, and craft engaging videos and static posts for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook.

Hybrid working is available with a base in our Support Centre. You will collaborate across Retail, HAC and HME and help showcase Halfords' brand personality through authentic, customer-led content across stores, garages and

Qualifications

Proven ability to create high-performing social content across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook.
Experience shooting social-first content with iPhone and DSLR.
Proficient in editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Canva, Photoshop) and storytelling.
Strong understanding of platform best practices, pacing, hooks and accessibility standards.

Responsibilities

Implement social-first content strategy across Retail and Field teams.
Create video and static content optimized for major platforms, using iPhone and DSLR.
Capture authentic in-store and on-site content in garages, vans and workshops.
Plan content with internal stakeholders and align with marketing priorities.
Research trends and audience interests to guide content direction.
Produce paid social cutdowns when needed to support goals.
Maintain consistent tone and brand identity across channels.
Ensure copyright, privacy and accessibility compliance.
