Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is seeking a Locum Sleep Physiologist in Warrington to join the Clinical Physiology team. This full-time role offers a band 6/7, with a start on 08/10/2024 and an hourly rate of £28–£35.

The initial contract is for 3 months, with potential extension based on performance and department needs. The position requires conducting sleep studies and polysomnography, analysing data, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to care for patients.

Qualifications

• BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent.
• Accredited by the British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) or equivalent accreditation (EACVI/ARDMS).
• Relevant qualifications and registration as a Sleep Physiologist.
• Experience in conducting and interpreting sleep studies.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• You will conduct sleep studies and polysomnography.
• You will analyse sleep data and prepare detailed reports.
• You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop patient care plans.
• You will educate patients on sleep hygiene and treatment options.
• You will maintain and calibrate sleep study equipment.

Education

BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent

Accredited by the British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) or equivalent accreditation (EACVI/ARDMS)
