Pulse Healthcare is seeking a Locum Sleep Physiologist for a Redhill site. The post is full-time/part-time, starting on 02/12/2024, with an hourly rate of £23–£35. Initial duration is 3 months with potential extension based on performance.

You will perform sleep studies and polysomnography, analyse data, prepare reports, and contribute to patient care planning alongside a multidisciplinary team. Equipment calibration and maintenance are also required.

Qualifications

• BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent
• Accredited by the British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) or equivalent accreditation (EACVI/ARDMS)
• Registration as a Sleep Physiologist
• Experience in conducting sleep studies
• Excellent attention to detail and patient care

About the role:

The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sleep Physiologist to join our team in Redhill. This is a full-time/part time position starting on the 2nd of December 2024, with a competitive hourly rate of £23 - £35. The role is initially for a duration of 3 months, with the potential for extension based on performance and departmental needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will conduct sleep studies and polysomnography. You will analyse sleep data and prepare detailed reports. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop patient care plans. You will educate patients on sleep hygiene and treatment options. You will maintain and calibrate sleep study equipment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent.
• Accredited by the British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) or equivalent accreditation (EACVI/ARDMS).
• Relevant qualifications and registration as a Sleep Physiologist.
• Experience in conducting and interpreting sleep studies.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
