Summary

Join a leading acute care service undergoing innovative transformations, elevating quality of care through digital technologies and infrastructure enhancements. We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist to fulfill the role of Senior Clinical Pharmacist, supporting exceptional patient care.

In this dynamic position, you will engage in 9-month rotations across diverse clinical areas including:

Acute admissions

Aseptics

Cardiology and stroke

Complex care/frailty

Diabetes care

Gastroenterology and GI surgery

General surgery

Maternity care

Medicines use and safety

Paediatrics

Respiratory medicine

Embrace a culture of innovation and learning, with opportunities to pursue further qualifications such as a clinical diploma and Independent Prescribing accreditation. This full-time role requires participation in a rota system, including weekends, late-nights, and on-call duties. Part-time options are available starting from 22.5 hours per week.

Person Specification:

(Essential) Accredited MPharm degree or OSPAP qualification

(Essential) Registration with the GPhC as a Pharmacist

(Essential) Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy setting

(Desirable) Clinical Pharmacy postgraduate certificate, or halfway point achievement in diploma
