Job summary

Aspire People are seeking a Secondary Supply Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across multiple schools in London’s Ealing area. You will adapt to each school's routines and maintain progress in the absence of the class teacher.

Ideal candidates hold QTS and have experience teaching at secondary level. The role offers flexible hours, day-to-day or regular bookings, and competitive pay with safeguarding a priority.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to build rapport with pupils and staff.
• Experience managing behaviour in unfamiliar classrooms is desirable.
• Flexible, reliable and adaptable across different schools and year groups.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons in line with schemes of work.
• Maintain a calm, structured and positive classroom environment.
• Manage pupil behaviour in line with each school's policies.
• Quickly adapt to different school settings, routines and year groups.
• Support pupils' learning and wellbeing throughout the day.
• Liaise professionally with school staff on arrival.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety policies at all times.
