Job summary

The City of Edinburgh Council invites applications for a Teacher of Physical Education at Drummond Community High School in Edinburgh city centre. The post is 35 hours per week with salary in the range £36,159 to £54,453.

Qualifications

• Experience in the secondary sector.
• Knowledge of current curricular developments and teaching theory.
• Ability to create and motivate within a team and manage workload.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Desirable: experience teaching NPA Exercise and Fitness.

Responsibilities

• Teach PE to pupils across S1–S6.
• Support pupil progress and contribute to school improvement.
