Job summary

Academics Agency in Doncaster is seeking an English Teacher to inspire students across secondary schools. You will plan engaging lessons, support pupils with SEN, and work with Teaching Assistants to ensure accessibility and progression.

QTS is essential and you must have the right to work in the UK; a current DBS Update Service is preferred. The role is PAYE only with daily rates £140-£225, plus a generous referral bonus and CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential to teach English at secondary level.
• Experience or interest in working with students with SEN or diverse learning needs is desirable.
• Creative, adaptable and resilient approach to teaching.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English lessons across Doncaster secondary schools.
• Work with Teaching Assistants and SENCOs to adapt lessons for SEN/difficulties.
• Support student confidence and critical thinking to prepare for GCSEs.
