PK Education Limited is seeking confident Cover Supervisors to support a secondary school in Newcastle. You will supervise classes during teacher absence, deliver pre-set work and keep pupils focused on their learning.

This role requires a calm, resilient approach, strong behaviour management, and the ability to engage students while building positive relationships and reporting concerns to staff. DBS on Update Service or willingness to apply is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working with secondary-aged pupils.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Calm, resilient approach in challenging situations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to support young people.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.

Responsabilités

• Supervise pre-set lessons across a range of subjects.
• Maintain a safe, productive classroom and follow the school's behaviour policy.
• Give clear instructions and support pupils to complete their work.
• Build positive relationships while maintaining high expectations.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff and report any concerns.
