Job summary

Monarch Education is actively recruiting a qualified Science Teacher for Bristol to join their secondary team on a fixed-term supply basis from September 2026 until December 2026. You will teach all sciences up to GCSE across a small group of Bristol schools.

Role requires UK-recognised QTS, is full-time, and offers a daily rate starting at £145, rising to £232.57 for experienced teachers; emphasis on planning, behaviour management and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• UK-recognised QTS is required.
• Full-time availability for the fixed-term supply role.
• Experience teaching Science up to GCSE in UK schools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach all lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Create a positive classroom environment and manage behaviour.
• Lead and support the classroom assistant to maximise pupil support.
