Job summary

Teach South in Tunbridge Wells is seeking Science Teachers for supply and longer-term placements across local secondary schools. Roles include day-to-day cover, regular supply, and longer-term opportunities, with KS3/KS4 and GCSE teaching, practical and theory-focused lessons, and access to existing schemes of work and your own lesson planning for longer-term posts.

QTS or recognized teaching experience is required, with strong subject knowledge and capable classroom management.

Qualifications

• Secondary Science teaching experience.
• Strong subject knowledge.
• Confidence teaching KS3 and GCSE.
• Good classroom management.
• Professional and adaptable approach.
• Ability to engage students and encourage curiosity.

Responsibilities

• Teach Science across KS3 and KS4 and GCSE disciplines.
• Deliver practical and theory-based lessons with existing schemes of work.
• Plan and deliver your own lessons for longer-term placements.
• Create a positive learning environment and manage behaviour to support progress.
