Job summary

Empowering Learning is seeking Supply Teachers and Cover Supervisors to provide high-quality cover across a range of secondary schools in Banbury. Roles include day-to-day and long-term placements with either full-time or part-time patterns and an immediate start.

You will deliver pre-prepared lessons, supervise classrooms, and support student learning while adapting to different school environments and year groups. This role offers flexible work and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching certification.
• Experience working in UK schools (primary or secondary).
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Reliability, flexibility, and a positive, professional attitude.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons or lead classes as required.
• Supervise and manage classrooms effectively and professionally.
• Support students' learning and engagement throughout the school day.
• Adapt quickly to different school environments, routines, and year groups.
• Uphold all school policies, including safeguarding, health & safety, and behaviour expectations.
