Job summary

Bridgend County Borough Council is seeking a General Kitchen Assistant to support school meals across 56 schools. The role involves assisting in the preparation, presentation and service of meals, while maintaining a safe, clean environment for pupils and staff.

You may be required to lay out dining tables and chairs and, in some schools, operate a touch screen terminal—training will be provided. You will work between 10:00 and 2:30, Monday to Friday, term time only.

Qualifications

• Level Two Food Hygiene Certificate required or training provided.
• Ability to maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment.
• Willingness to work term-time hours.
