Outwood Grange Academies Trust (OGAT) invites applications for a Class Supervisor to support continuity of learning during teacher absences across various subjects. You will supervise whole classes, implement pre-set work, and help maintain a constructive environment in a dynamic school setting.

Applicants should have strong communication, safeguarding awareness, and the ability to work with pupils with empathy, while following school policies. Training opportunities are provided.

Competenze

• Clear communication with diverse audiences and confidentiality.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to engage with pupils empathetically and recognise safeguarding issues.
• Experience in a school environment is desirable.
• Willingness to obtain/enhance qualifications and training.

Mansioni

• Supervise whole classes during short-term teacher absence and implement pre-set work.
• Manage student behaviour according to the policy to maintain a constructive environment.
• Assist in preparing the environment and materials; answer questions about the set work; collect completed assignments.
• Conduct staff-supervised entry/departure and accurately record and report attendance.
• Support examination logistics by invigilating and reporting pupil behaviour or issues via referrals.
