Job summary

Yorkshire law firm in Sheffield seeks an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join its property team. You will manage a varied caseload of residential sales and purchases, handling freehold and leasehold transactions and advising clients from instruction through to completion and post completion.

You will be a qualified solicitor with a proven track record in residential conveyancing, capable of working independently while contributing to a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with experience in residential conveyancing.
• Experience handling a full residential conveyancing caseload.
• Knowledge of freehold and leasehold transactions.
• Experience managing your own caseload from instruction to completion.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and client care.
• Ability to work independently within a wider team.

Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload of residential property sales and purchases.
• Act for buyers and sellers throughout the conveyancing process.
• Handle freehold and leasehold residential property transactions.
• Review contracts, title documentation and property searches.
• Raise and respond to enquiries.
• Liaise with Clients, Estate Agents, Lenders and other Solicitors.
• Manage exchange and completion deadlines.
• Deal with mortgages and lender requirements.
• Handle completion and post completion matters.
• Provide clear and practical legal advice throughout each transaction.
• Maintain strong client relationships and deliver excellent client care.
