Qualifications

• QTS is required.
• Minimum of 6 months UK classroom experience.
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to teaching.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine passion for helping children succeed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the primary curriculum.
• Create an engaging, inclusive and positive classroom environment.
• Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
• Differentiate lessons and activities to meet learning needs.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly.
• Promote positive behaviour and maintain high expectations.
• Develop strong relationships with pupils.
• Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff.
• Communicate with colleagues and parents/carers as appropriate.
• Encourage pupils to become confident, independent and resilient learners.
