Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking Early Career Teachers (ECTs) for primary schools in Tamworth, Staffordshire, starting September 2026. Roles are available on both full-time and part-time contracts, including long-term and supply opportunities, with induction and mentoring support.

You will deliver high-quality lessons across EYFS, KS1, KS2, and mixed-age classes, aligned to the UK National Curriculum, with ongoing assessment and collaborative planning with school staff.

Qualifications

• Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• ECTs or recently qualified teachers welcome.
• Have a genuine passion for teaching and supporting children's learning.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills.
• DBS check on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Provide two professional references from training placements or employment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a productive learning atmosphere.
• Assess, monitor and adapt teaching to support pupil progress.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, support staff and senior leaders.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
