Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking confident and adaptable Primary Supply Teachers and ECTs to work across EYFS-KS2 in Merseyside. The role offers day-to-day, short-term, and long-term flexible contracts with immediate start dates across Merseyside schools.

You will deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS to KS2, maintain strong behaviour management, and adapt teaching to suit various age groups and school settings. A QTS or equivalent and safeguarding understanding are essential.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent required.
• Experience teaching across EYFS-KS2.
• Proven ability to manage behaviour effectively.
• Flexible, resilient, and able to quickly build rapport with pupils.
• Professional, reliable, and positive approach to supply teaching.
• Strong safeguarding understanding.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS to KS2, ensuring learning objectives are met.
• Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management, creating a calm and productive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching approaches to suit different age groups, abilities, and school settings.
• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures.
• Provide feedback to school staff at the end of each assignment.
