Job summary

Academics is seeking Supply Teaching Assistants to support primary schools around Redhill on an ad-hoc, short-term basis. You will assist with classroom management, pupil engagement, and one-to-one or small-group support to pupils in a range of primary settings.

This temporary role offers competitive daily pay, weekly PAYE, and opportunities for CPD and career progression within a supportive agency environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable.
• CACHE or NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning is preferred but not essential.
• Possession of Enhanced DBS (Update Service) or willingness to apply for one.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with classroom management and pupil engagement.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils.
• Help create a positive, safe and inclusive classroom environment.
• Adapt to different primary school settings and follow safeguarding procedures.
