Job summary

Kings Forest Primary School is seeking a positive and energetic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team. The post covers classes from Nursery through to Year 6, delivering planned lessons during ECT time, teacher CPD time and some sickness cover.

When cover is not required, the successful candidate will work alongside a teacher in the classroom supporting teaching and learning. The role would suit someone who is passionate about teaching and learning and is looking to gain experience

Qualifications

• Ability to converse with pupils, parents and other users in accurate spoken English is essential.
• Role involves covering classes from Nursery through Year 6 and supporting learning.

Responsibilities

• Cover classes from Nursery through Year 6 delivering planned lessons during ECT time, CPD time and sickness cover.
• Work with a teacher in the classroom to support teaching and learning.
• Collaborate with HLTA team to make a positive impact on pupils' lives.
