Job summary

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated PPA Teacher to join a welcoming Cheltenham primary school and deliver high-quality lessons across a range of year groups.

You will cover classes while class teachers have planning, preparation and assessment time, delivering engaging, well-structured lessons and building positive relationships with pupils to support their learning and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent).
• Enthusiastic and committed classroom practitioner.
• Confident teaching across different year groups.
• Adaptable, organised and able to build rapport with pupils.
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Teach across different year groups and curriculum areas.
• Plan and deliver engaging, creative and differentiated lessons.
• Establish positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Maintain high expectations of behaviour, learning and achievement.
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of individual pupils.
