Job summary

Royal Mail in London is recruiting a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) for a fixed-term 9-month contract at West Wimbledon DO, SW19 4BB. You will deliver letters and parcels by van and on foot, build relationships with customers, and work outdoors in all weather.

The role supports a varied, active daily routine. You’ll work a 30-hour week on a rotating schedule, including some weekends, with a driving assessment and full training provided.

Qualifications

• A full manual UK driving licence is required and you must be willing to drive a Royal Mail van daily.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances and lift mailbags.
• Reliable, self-motivated and well-organised to work in a busy environment.
