Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is recruiting a committed Physical Education Teacher for an Outstanding School in Croydon. You will teach PE across KS3 and KS4, including GCSE PE, in a full-time, permanent role with an ASAP start.

You will deliver engaging, practical lessons to develop physical ability, teamwork and confidence, contribute to extracurricular sport and school competitions, and work with a department that values enthusiasm and high standards.

Qualifications

• PE or Sports Degree.
• QTS or recognised teaching qualification.
• Secondary PE teaching experience.
• Ability to teach KS3 and KS4.
• Strong practical knowledge across a range of sports.
• Ability to motivate students of different abilities.
• Confident behaviour management.
• Good lesson planning and assessment skills.
• Willingness to support extracurricular sport.
• Positive and enthusiastic approach to teaching.

Responsibilities

• Deliver enjoyable, purposeful and challenging PE lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Teach a variety of sporting activities while supporting GCSE PE where appropriate.
• Contribute to extracurricular sport, fixtures, clubs and school competitions.
